Terms and conditions

This is a translation for your convenience. The Dutch version is legally binding.

These terms and conditions apply to all driving lessons, lesson packages and exams offered by Hedaya Drive. By registering and taking part in the lessons, the student agrees to these terms.

1. Appointments and cancellations

  • Lessons can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance by phone or WhatsApp.
  • Late cancellation means the lesson is charged in full.
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, the lesson counts as missed.
  • Lesson time is not extended if you arrive late.

2. Attendance and discipline

  • Keep to the agreed lesson times.
  • Bring valid ID and your learner's/driving licence.
  • Follow the traffic rules and the instructor's instructions.
  • Inappropriate behaviour may lead to ending the lesson or the contract.
  • Report health issues or medication use in advance.

3. Payment and rates

  • Payment is made in advance, for both single lessons and packages.
  • Payment in instalments is possible by arrangement.
  • Refunds are only possible in exceptional cases.
  • On early termination, lessons taken are settled at the single-lesson rate.
  • Exam fees are not included unless stated otherwise.

4. Student responsibilities

  • Keep the lesson car clean; eating, drinking and smoking are not allowed.
  • Contact is only via the official channels (phone/WhatsApp).
  • Show respect for the instructor, fellow students and other road users.
  • Traffic fines due to reckless behaviour are at the student's expense.

5. Driving school responsibilities

  • We provide a qualified instructor and a maintained, insured vehicle.
  • We reserve the right to change appointments, with notice.
  • You receive regular feedback on your progress.
  • Damage during the lesson is covered by insurance, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

6. Exams

  • The practical exam is booked exclusively through the driving school.
  • An exam can only be scheduled with a valid theory certificate.
  • The driving school is not responsible for the exam result.

7. Applicable law

These terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
